However much planning and thought goes into setting up an organisation, its ultimate success depends on the way in which its people work together and respond to the many vagrancies of everyday operations; there is no way that every occurrence can be planned for. In addition, operations have to take into account the fact that every individual is unique and requires to have that individuality respected if he/she is to operate energetically and effectively in pursuit of organisational objectives. Working together with synergy and responsiveness is not the most developed of skills in a world in which education and upbringing take little account of self-awareness and emotional intelligence. However, the innate ability is in everyone and the untapped energy that can be made available is awesome.
